Dec. 6-7, Christmas at Canterbury, 3-8 pm, Canterbury Shaker Village, 288 Shaker Rd., Canterbury. With candlelight stroll, caroling, sing-along, children’s theatrical performance, display of gingerbread houses, sale of trees and wreaths, wreath decorating, craft demonstrations, food sampling, complimentary hot cider and refreshments, musical performances by Purple Martins and Shaker Singers and sale of crafts. Also children’s crafts and activities and special tour of Dwelling House with authentic Shaker Christmas dinner served. Call 783-9511.

Annual event during which visitors sample treats, make country crafts, take horse-drawn sleigh ride, view exhibits on Christmas traditions and tour living quarters of Dr. Edwin Crafts Remick.
